Weatherwax

Another Discworld-inspired drawstring bag, inspired by Granny Weatherwax.

How this was made:
First, a sketch of the shapes I wanted (the hat and the bees). 
Second, clay molds. The letters are craft foam cut with a nifty die-cut machine I had access to.
Third, fabric placed over the mold, and a rubbing made using Shiva oil paint sticks.
Fourth (etc), the fabric was sewn into a bag. I like functional art.

This piece was sold at the Art Show at the 2013 North American Discworld Convention in Baltimore.
